Do you dress up to fly on an airplane?

"Back In The Day," people used to dress up to fly. Those were the days when people also dressed to go to see a movie. Now I usually get stuck sitting next to some fat, smelly guy in a sleeveless t-shirt, shorts and flip flops...in both places.

The other week I tried to get on an airplane, but they sent me home to PUT ON some clothes. (Here I thought it would be easier for TSA . . . . but what do I know . . . .)

Sure I remember what we used to wear to fly ... suits and ties for the guys. Skirts, heels and hats for the ladies. Now I am lucky if I remember to zip the fly.

Casual, but always make sure you wear clean underwear, in case the plane crashes.

Why even bother wearing clothes at all? Today's security screening leaves nothing to the imagination anyway.

Our older son has figured out that the better he looks, the less likely he is to be pulled out of line. He shows up in a full suit, with pocket watch... and a backpack for a suitcase.

My mother-in-law, on the other hand, was always picked out by their "auntie-terrorist" squad. (She stays home now.)

I don't bother dressing at all, it makes it easier for the TSA gropers ...... besides who ever saw Pluto wearing clothes anyway?

Only if I'm not attending a Mile High Club meeting.

Shorts a T-shirt and thongs (On my feet silly). I can do a strip search in five seconds flat. Yes I remember a time when one dressed up for travel. or go to a movie, or to dine out, or watch TV in one's living room. I truely do not miss those days.
